a very cool flickr group I ran into, and an idea for you
first of all - a quote:
"There are two kinds of fools, those who lend books, and those who return them".
and now to the subject:
I occasionally search for forum threads about lending and borrowing, to suggest that people try Traxtuff out - I hope most people don't see this as spamming, I never do it in a commercial manner - and I only leave comments where I think it's directly related to the subject.
while running around I ran across a very cool Flickr group:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/72759907@N00/
I got there via this discussion about lending and borrowing books:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/your_books/discuss/72157603755049483/
and looking around, I was overwhelmed by the amount of books the group owner has:

I'm a long time Flickr lover, but this is imho such a creative use of flickr...
which brings me to my idea/suggestion:
posting your stuff in in Traxtuff is great.
but if you're too lazy and have tons of stuff for instance, just take some pictures of your books/DVDs/CDs etc, and post it in flickr or send it to friends to let them know about the stuff you have available!
perhaps we should consider such a feature in Traxtuff in the future. adding links to a flickr photo/photoset of stuff to lend.
I'm pretty excited about this, and once I'm back in Tel Aviv (I'm in Berlin at the moment) I will first take my own advice on this and put such pictures on flickr. let me know what you think!
