as part of my pre-declared attempts to make the site more social (after all, lending and borrowing are social activities :) ), I've added more visible contact lists. that means you can see your contacts on your dashboard, and see other users' contacts too. (although you won't see their items if they are not your approved contacts).

alas, deciding on the next feature is an art.

anyway, this is just a small feature (accompanied by some bug fixes and some fresh bugs to be discovered in the future). as I've promised, we are cooking a design change, and you can take a look on a sketch Dana made here.
this sketch is supposed to address a color scheme change, and a small layout change.

another lesson: discussions seem to work better when I talk to people on the phone while inspecting the work or in first person, and not on the forum.
