hello new design, goodbye old design

as promised here, we have a new design. first for the site, and in the next days also for the blog and forum.

we liked the old design. some things needed polishing.
the old design was a tad narrow on the shoulders, and people were telling us that the design may be too baby-ish to the point of confusing people as to the purpose of this site, and we did our best to fix these issues (getting feedback from many people on the way - thanks pruthie, ori, hila, soli, tamar, adi, adele and the rest of you out there).

I'd like to take a moment to commemorate the old design.

there's a good chance you see the new design with your very eyes right now. in case you aren't registered users though, this is what the new design looks like on the user's dashboard (censored of course, this is my page...)
